NOGD: RG550 woo hoo!!

Some of you may remember the deal I had with a LB maple necked 550 that didn't work out. Well good karma has come my way.

Traded my black Gambale for a Heather Pearl (or Cosmic Mist maybe?) 550 and some cash. She needs some cleaning up and is in pretty good shape but the neck is in prestine shape with minimal wear and VERY FAST! Unreal fast. Here's some pics.



Gonna throw in a PAF Pro in the neck and a Tone Zone in the bridge. Maybe a green purple combo, we'll see.

The setup is chicken right now. Nice intonation huh? Ha ha. He mentioned the block is missing )That little square nub that holds the string in) so I'm guessing that's what it is. Hopefully I have a spare one in some parts I have laying around.

I'm gonna gut it and clean her up good as new.

I'm still confused on the color. I hear mentions of Heather Pearl but wondering if it's Cosmic Mist? Any ideas.

finstah, I have a few spare string blocks, I'm pretty sure. I can hook you up if you don't have one.

PS: The name is "Coral Mist", not "Cosmic Mist". Tell us the year of production and we can work out which finish it is.
