Re: OH-MY-GAWD: is it real? (P-II content)
sweet! Does anyone think there is a chance they could start making RGs in similar colors too? If these come out like this, Ibanez could be back. I'd love it if they used these colors for other guitars even though I don't really want a P II.
But something tells me this is photoshopped. I hope not, but it doesnt look real to me. It looks like great cg.

I am totally flabergasted. And also in a hard situation now, because I'm just about to buy an old
540P-II
, and now I wonder whether I should be saving my money.

Re: OH-MY-GAWD: is it real? (P-II content)
I think it's pretty safe to say it's not real, because the original post on the Ibanez forums is from forum member 'cosmitron' who says "I've spent some time to 3Ding what I'd like to see in the near future. Specs are there, but basically a 540IIP with colors and last fashion features."
The pic Nuno posted has been cropped to remove the artist's credit.

Here are more of Cosmitron's designs:

Well considering the guitars have the latest hardware and constuction techniques, not that old I'd say.

Hold out ...lame....
I say it isnt real, it would be to smart of a move for Ibanez. Hell I would buy one, would be the first new guitar off the rack over buying used past glory Ibanezs.
But alas: Their not all black and they dont have rosewood fretboards.
Add: Mistake in bridge writeup, also the reflection on the pick guards of the side by side shot is the same on all three with only the color of the guitar being changed in photoshop. Its fake.
