Ok guys which one is going to Sims custom shop?

I need some help deciding which rg is going to Sims for a swirl. the 89 rg570 on the left or the 91 rg550 on the right? thanks for the input ................mo

550 for sure, unless you put a clear pickguard on the 570 like a DNA, that'd be sweet.

570. Yoou can put a clear pickguard on and get rid of those pickup rings.

i can't see any 550 on those pics, rather a 520. anyway, i'd go with the 570 and direct-mount the pickups. i'd leave the 520 as it is cause it looks so Slayer with EMGs.

Ok now I am really confused, The one on the left with the emg's is definately a 570 (I hope). I got that from the original owner who is a friend of mine and he bought it new. thanks to patrick at Sims, he informed me that my new 550 that i got last week is not a 550, but probably a 570 as well because it is identical to my other one. but nuno said one is a 520 , do you see something I am missing? is it possible one of these is a 520? the serial number on the 570 is f108147, the serial number on the unknown is f915851 , I just went and put them side by side and they are absolutely identical, ...................mo

hopefully you guys can help me figure this out because i paid 430 bucks for this guitar and i might have been overcharged, if I was let me know what I should have paid and Ill straighten this out...................thanks again guys......mo

They're both definitely 570s.

I've got one as well, and it's identical to both of them.

Assuming no modifications:
RG570 HSH no pickguard.
RG550 HSH with pickguard.
RG520 HH no pickguard.

All worth pretty much the same price, condition dependant.

Guys, keep in mind the one with the Two EMG's has a single coil too, it just has a sticker over the empty single coil cavity according to the owner. So that means it can't be a 520. Both guitars are HSH w/ no pickguard and an edge, so they are both 570's.

Thank you patrick, I forgot to tell them I covered the single coil hole with a sticker on the emg one. anyway i guess we got this figured out they are both identical hsh configs so I guess I will be sending you a 570 lol. I also called the music store where I got it and he is going to give me 150 bucks back so I got the second 570 for 280 bucks..not bad. thanks for all of your help guys, you are an awesome gang, and I will post pics of my swirly 570 in a few months as soon as Mr Sims and I are done customizing it...............mo
