One week to go...

Well, after much deliberation and some good advice from Jemsiters, I finally sold my Gibson Les Paul Custom on the bay for £1,220.

I've ordered my RG550MXXRF and I should have it next week. Pics to follow, obviously.

Thanks to all who gave me advice, cheers guys! I've got some money in the bank and I'm getting my RF too, happy days

Can't wait...

No way!!! You sold a Les Paul Custom to get a 550? Don't get me wrong, I love the DY & RFR reissues, but couldn't you find another way? Like selling off some kids, or donating sperm or something... Sorry, I know this is an Ibanez site, and I love my ibies, (have more Ibanez guitars than any other brand) and I only have one Gibson ('76 Les Paul Custom) but I love my Les and can do things with it that I cannot do with any of my other guitars. Well as long as your happy... I just can't seem to let go of a guitar once it's in my possesion.

P.S. I know you will be happy with your new axe so, CONGRATS!!!

If I remember correctly, he wasn't playing his LP and it was just lying around and that's why he wanted to sell it.

Congrats on the new guitar, man. Enjoy it.

Pre-empted Congrats!!

Now......tick.............................tock.... ....................tick................tock

This will be one of the longest weeks for you I'd imagine. I doun't regret buying all three when I could have spent that same $ on a JC or the three RG20s - I am happy with my 3 RG20ths. If I had it to do over I would have gotten the RFR AND a JC
