Opinions of the Xiphos XP700

Have an opportunity to pick one up tomorrow for a pretty good price and was wondering if anyone had any experience with them.

Looks great, sounds great, the pickups are a punch in the nuts XD, and yeah there's just one sucky f'ucky thing I really dislike about it and thats the Edge III, but the big plus is it comes along with a case and DiMarzio pickups and all, so all you prolly gotta do is to replace the Edge III with and OFR or Gotoh Floyd Rose. But I still gotta say, get the lil kick ass shred board, man!

great guitar but the bridge lets it down, theres a few fixed bridge ones out there so if youre keen you could grab one of those instead.

i said it in another thread, but ibanez could have done better with the xiphos (marketwise) if they sold it with an edge zero or even the ZR. definitely would have put it up there as a higher-end guitar.

Heres hoping for an ibanez prestige xiphos...*drools*
