Hi! I'm looking into buying my first Ibanez and was wondering if you could reccomend one for me. Basicaly i like to play melodic rock and metal and i'm looking for a H/S/H or H/H guitar with a nice neck. These are the guitars i've been looking at so far. RG2570

and could stretch my budget to this
RG3120

What's your opinion on these guitars?
What are the DiMarzio/IBZ pickups like? are they so bad that you'd have to replace them straight away? Thanks in advance.

If I was you I wouldnt buy new. I would seriously think about getting a used RG550, or even a used RG3120. You will save bucketloads, and you wont regret it. You will have spare money to buy pickups too!

I could talk about this all day long, but Im not gonna lol. Do a search and have a look around. Things like this have been discussed many times.
Many other people will agree with me also I would have thought.

Get a used 3120, you should find one for under U$S650-700, thats the best value you can get.
