PGM Prices

Does anyone know the prices of all the PGM's (100,300,500,800,etc.) NEW?

The only thing "new" in Japan [or anywhere else] is the 300 and 301.

I can't find new PGM300's in england, we've only got the PGM301 and the crap PGM30

PGM300 is not new and it's only available in Japan.
Same goes for PGM800 - Japan only model that is no longer in production.

I remember in 1996 the PGM 500 in my local music store was £1195 so I guess it was around $1200 in the US.
After having that guitar for 6 years the store sold it for 1/2 price and Paul (Pablo) snagged it.

The PGM30 is NOT crap! I used to have an old one with the Lo TRS II on it and it was a great guitar. 2003 + models now have the Edge Pro bridge (yep the same as on an $1,800 JEM). You may want to visit the guitar store and try one out before writing it off

I think the new one with the trem is ok, but I don't like the old ones with, in my opinion, a crap trem on it. I don't like the TRS trems, that's just my personal opinion. To be honest I haven't played the PGM30 BUT I i've said, I don't like the trem so in my opinion that's what lets it down. I'd rather pay extra and get a PGM300 with a decent trem, maple neck and reverse head stock!

It wasn't me - it was another guy that doesn't show up here anymore.
I can't remember his user name but the only reason I remember is because I joined the forum around the same time and at the time read all the postings and also because for 7 out of the past 9 years I've lived in Reading.

Right now I'd gladly pay £600 for a new PGM 500 but I never saw it sell for less than £1195 which seemed a bit steep.
