PGM301

Is it the only paul Gilbert model or is it the cheap one?
Also i want to know if anyone has install a floyd/edge in it?

It's not a cheapo one. It's a hardtail PGM.

Why would you put a floyd on it when you can just buy a PGM 300?

+1. It will be less expensive to buy a used PGM300 in great shape than to buy a PGM301, a locking trem and get it installed.

PGM301s having been popping up on Fleabay left and right lately.

Yeap this years PGM3s are installed with EDGEIII so does jem333, much better IMO than those lousy ILT1 trem installed in a signature guitar

Either edge or lo-pro. Ibanez249 is the man round here for PGM's. He knows his stuff
