pickguard on rear route


hello all, has anyone put a scratchplate on a guitar that is rear routed such as rg*70.

Its been done, not by me but its been done before, you'll have to screw in the pickguard on the body, obviously.

thanks for the pics thats is exactly what i want to do i got a mij 470 body and i am going to make it a custom rg550dx black withe fluro green trimmings, pickups, knobs, inlays, decal etc, ill post pics of my progress

did you route out where the controls are because ive been thinking that the pots and switch wont be long enough.

I've done it before and the pots where long enough to thread barely, but just enough to snug them. I don't remember if the pots I used where long-shaft or not though.
