Well, a standard Ibanez guard won't work perfectly because the standard blade switch won't be long enough to stick through both the top of the body and the guard. This is why on floral and swirl Jems, there's a larger hole routed out where the switch goes, to provide clearance for the tip. You may have a similar problem with the pots as the shaft may not make it all the way through. You could get long-shaft pots, but I don't know if you want to be changing those out or not.
You could have a custom guard made with enlarged holes for the pots such that the knobs would be slightly recessed into the guard, but this likely won't be cheap. In addition, unless the tolerances are quite small, some of the color on the body might be visible through the gaps around the knobs and/or
pickup switch, which might not look too great.
If you can find a way around those issues, though, a standard Ibanez pickguard mounts the pickups to the guard, so the transition from rings to that would be very smooth. I believe the clear guards on floral Jems expect the pickups to be mounted to the body, so that might or might not work well, but if you went the custom guard route, I assume you could get it done however you wanted it.
Anyway, it might not be as simple as you'd think, but it's doable one way or another, if you want a pickguard bad enough.
