Pics of a restored Roadstar II

Hey, i just thought id share some pics of this one, new finish, new guard, new wiring (a la strat), jack on the side...

Its an '83, Ill post pics of the original condition later, too...

I really liked how it call came together, just wasnt 100% on the color... Anyway, an interesting trade came up and now its gone...

Yeah nice. It's good to see those old things being cared for. I love a couple of the old Roadstar II models.

Wow, big difference.

Q's:

Who did the paintwork?
Are you getting it clear coated?
Are those original knobs Sure Grip II's?

1) A local luthier

2) Nah, its matte, kinda a satin finish, looked better in person than in pics...

3) Yup, saved them for future use, got 5 of them...
