Pics of rg 20th RFR with white black pickups?
I just bought a RFR 20th(Still in transit) and was wondering what it would look like with both humbuckers changed to the classic Dimarzio black/white color scheme. I find the all
black pickguard
and pups a bit boring. i think this would make it stand out a bit more.
Any pics floating around of this mod?
Might try the D Activators in it too. I have a set coming for my UV7PWH.
Thanks,
Chris

I've always been a fan of white pickups and I think you should go all white instead of white/black.

I agree; the zebra pups will make it seem at first glance like a Strat with three single coils.

It would look something like this...forgive me if the black and white are not on the right sides - I just alternated them.

Holy **** dude, nice work. I think this would be really cool. I think the all white pups would be too much, this zebra scheme is not too exagerated, it gives it charachter.
I love it. I think this is the route i`m going, now to decide what model
And thanks to all for the replies.

i like the zebra look, looks sweet, also it saves on buying a middle pick up if going all white! (or 1 less sticker to buy if doing it that way).

Re: Pics of rg 20th RFR with white black pickups?
You wouldn't need to buy a whole middle pickup anyway, just buy a white single coil cover from e-Bay or something and use it on your existing pickup.
As for black & white pickups on an RFR 550, visually, it doesn't work for me at all. I think it would be better with black and cream because the cream would kinda tie in with the colour of the maple board. If you use any kinda of black & ______ zebra it looks like you have single coils in there from a distance.

Great axe, congrats! Looks cool with the zebras, but I would go with white on the outsides and middle, would stand out more. And oh yeah, FloridaNative is a girl

Agreed with Gilk -- white on the outside coils, and white in the middle.
