I really like that Strat too.

How do you like the Crate amp? Which model is that? They vintage tube stuff from Crate is the only line of amps I have ever liked from them. Cool stuff.

The Crate amp is great. IMO, it's one of the only really good products they've ever put out. This particular one is the Vintage Club VC50H. It's got a spectacular clean channel, almost unbelievable for an amp like this (got the half-stack for $400 from a friend). The gain channel is pretty good, and it sounds great cranked up.

Cool stuff.

That is the only series I have EVER liked from Crate and I've played the BV series and others that they consider "high-end" Crate (is there such a thing? lol).

I played thru the 30wtt version once (guitarist from Blackfoot brought it in - Charlie Hargret - super guy and super player) and added a DS-1 in front and BAM!!, it rocked.

Yep. It's a great amp, especially for someone who wants an affordable tube amp.
