Picups,picups nad picups Question

UPSSSSSS Sory for Admins and Mods my post is in wrong part. Please transfer it to right place. I haven`t slept for about 20h...

Hi,

I` have Ibanez RG 2120 on my eye but it has some active picups on board. I prefer pasive Dimarzio so I woud like to change them for a Crunch Lab and - bridge and Air Norton - neck. I need good warm sound for solling and clarity for rythm parts.
Do you think this is good idea? What is Your proposal ?

BTW. I talked with owner of one Ibanez RG 2120 and hi said this model is old ****y and for 500$ It`s possible to buy a better guitar. How do You comment this because for me this words are strange...

Is that true that Ibanez RG 2120 replace JPM model when J. Petrucci left Ibanez?

Thanks for help

Paul
