Please, help me to identify this RG

I just was wondering if someone here at Jemsite can help me identifying this RG:

Is an AANJ RGR made in Japan in 1997, but I donīt know which model is (maybe a 570 limited?) and I can't find it in the US catalogs (probably is an European or Japanese limited edition). Any comments or information will be much appreciated!

Cheers!!

Re: Please, help me to identify this RG

that joker is SEXY!!! like a pgm style production rg. swap the pickups to white and replace the knobs and switch tip to white strat style and it will be SICK. the sharktooth inlays are just over the top, i'd almost trade my rg770dxvm for it: ALMOST. doesn't mean that i'm not extremely jealous, tho.

Do you have the specs? It seems is the same model that the one I have posted.

Thanks to all for your answers, I wonder why Ibanez stop making guitars like this, I'm sure that many people will buy them...

Re: Please, help me to identify this RG

all i know is that it wasn't available to the u.s. if it had been, it would be in my collection. that guitar is just over the top and off the hook. with a mahogany body to boot. if it plays as good as it looks, i'll be trying to hunt one down for myself.

Re: Please, help me to identify this RG

hello,
first, Iwas not sure it was RGR580 as I mentioned, it's just my 'best bet' on the RGR580, i never looked at the neck pocket.

why did i bet on 'RGR580' instead of RGR470 or 480 or 570 :
it has direct mounted pickups, which only available on RGR580 series, the RGR470 and RGR480 have pickups rings.

why makes me doubt about it :
it has wizard neck, when RGR580 supposed to have Wizard II neck.
it's not mahogany, i know i, it's kinda light, when RGR580 has mahogany.

everything else just the same:
V6 humbuckers, RTS single
EDGE tremolo in cosmo black
AANJ neck joint

So, I named it RGR 580 DX until someone can show me its true identity.
