Poll: Need your opinion on pickup colours

thanks to the new VRG builder, i can finally see what my Rg20th would look like with different pickup colours. Since im buying new pickups really soon, i've narrowed down my choices into 4 combinations.
1)all black
2)Black/cream for 2 pickups

3)Black/pink for 2 pickups

4)Black/purple, black, Pink/black

any input would be greatly appreciated. I'm leaning towards the black/cream myself, but that requires buying a new pickguard (2-ply), and, well.... i love neon. Any other suggestions are welcome too. Thank you

I think unless you're going for something like bright green, and trying to mirror the JEM styling, that Roadflare guitars look best with black pickups.

+1 it might look better in the flesh but I'm not keen on any of those options...

I think you need more vivid colours - the cream/purple and pink are too pastel for me.

I'd agree that unless you go for realy vibrant pickup colours that it's just not an improvement. Also It's be cool to match the headstock logo to the pickup colour with one of those stickers off the bay.

Keep them Black.

None. RF is quite unique. It is neither pink, nor orange, nor red, but somewhere in-between and with a bias towards red.

Re: Poll: Need your opinion on pickup colours

if you're getting 'em in black, at least make sure the pole pieces are black as well... silver might off-set the look

The stock HB's have black poles but the single coil doesn't.

I like the stocks, they don't need replacing, in my opinion.

I went with all black. Maybe vibrant green would work, but I like the look of it as is.
