Well, tried something fun this time. Black electric tape

And after adjusting some colours, found out that a chrome/silver finish would be a killer:

cool but i'd put some white tape pieces too, to match with the pickups and to give some light in there. or maybe put the white tape pieces on the pickguard only and placing them like they're the "continuum" of the black tape pieces on the pickguard... yea, nice.

Actually, after sanding the back of the neck and doing some serious adjustements, this thing is far better to play then my 77FP.
