possible to replace trs with speedloader in RG?

I have and RG320QS and I am wondering if the TRS-I can be replaced with Floyd Rose speed loader or any other better tremelo for that matter? Is there also a way to disable the TRS and have no not float. Let me know thanks!

Re: possible to replace trs with speedloader in RG?

the TRS could be swapped with an OFR without mods, but to be sure with the speedloader here's a page where you could get templates of the Floyd Trems.

http://www.floydrose.com/instructions.html

just compare the measurements with your guitar's trem route.

but from checking the templates. the trem posts have the same distance and the main difference being that the speedloader needs a longer bottom route.

The Gotoh, Schaller and Original Flod rose tremolos are a direct replacement for the TRS.
The speedloader doesn't tuning keys so your guitar would look very weird at the end, with holes or unused tuning keys.

I have one guitar with a TRS tremolo S370 and I found out that stuffing some soft tissue under the springs really improves the tuning stability and tone.
