Re: Post pics of your own Custom modded Ibanez.

My customised JS1000BTB.

Have changed the majority of the hardware to chrome from cosmo, just the nut and retainer bar to go and she's finished. The pups I changed to chrome Paf Joe and Fred.

Thanks guys

IMHO, I think that all JS models should have chrome hardware.

just finished repainting my Deep Violet Flat S470, much more to my liking now. I already had a Humbucker From Hell neck and Tone Zone bridge pickup setup but I added a Megaswitch to the mix now as well.

Re: Post pics of your own Custom modded Ibanez.

Thanks Flobanez, I used the color shifting paint that Duplicolor makes. It's just 3 cans of paint they sell in a set; base coat, "mirage" coat, and clear coat. This is the blue/red set and it was well worth the $20 cost of paint hehe.

Re: Post pics of your own Custom modded Ibanez.

Great to hear damo7v, you gotta post pics when you get it finished! The Duplicolor mirage paint is amazingly simple to work with considering the results you get and the fact it's so inexpensive. The Blue/red set I used was the most expensive I had seen it priced at for just $20.

I plan on painting another of my guitars with a different color set, just gotta decide which colors to use hehe
