Some of you may find this painful & disturbing, but it had to be done...

Ugh, shoulda bought a black Rg5xx body off **** or something, the metalflake 517/570 guitars are rare.

It's got so much sentimental value to me, I could never get rid of it. I am keeping the inside of the
spring cavity
in the back the blue sparkle, just as a "Remember your true self" kinda vibe.
Let 'em laugh. I like it. If it doesn't appeal to you anymore then that's cool.
Edit: I just saw the pic where you sanded the finish off. I would've kept it the way it was. Oh well, too late.

Re: Post pics of your own Custom modded Ibanez.
The Blue Finish no longer appealed to me. I couldn't find a cheap 520 body anywhere or a 570/550 with a AANJ.
So, the lack of Ibanez Parts on the web left me with little choice.

Re: Post pics of your own Custom modded Ibanez.
My SC 420BC or "S" Classic.....I bought it new in 2002, that's what year it is. I had a little accident, it actually fell from my guitar stand. I bitched and moaned for a day or so and then I realized the body was Mahogany....so I sanded it down and stripped it til I had a natural look and swapped pups to EMG's.
