2003 RG 1550 with new pickguard, control knobs and truss cover from http://www.preciousmetalproducts.co.uk ( i read someone say the neck pocket was too small on theres, i had the same problem, a quick yank on the pocket sorts it ( i took it to the guy as i live by him, and he did it for me))

next mods will be FRED bridge and PAF Pro Neck pickups (reckon zebra bobbins would look cool? or would it look lame)

Here's mine:

RG 760 in Dark gray. "Eclipse" i'd like to name it. Bought it for a steal and it was missing a trussrod cover, pressure pads and whammy. These parts have been replaced since acquired. It's been upgraded to an Evolution with white bobbin toppers on the bridge, changed the stock middle pickup cover to white, replaced the neck pickup to a Fast Track 1 (not by choice) along with a 3" white Dimarzio cliplock strap. Eclipse stickers made from CD labels were 'inspired' by the arrangement of gears on an RG-Gear. The rear cavity covers are made of basswood painted white and clearcoated

Hey Judasbane, love that 760.
The white pickups with the sharktooths and graphics on the body go very well.

Soon to come is my new RG Polka Dot!!!

Ibanez Prestige models are now coming with V7/V8s? What's that about? I thought they were supposed to be higher on upthe scale than common Ibanez's?

good one Rob.
I am not too sure about the finish myself yet. You can never tell what it will look like until all of the hardware and thats on it.

We shall see though.......Hopefully it will look good.

You and your textured finishes.
If it doesnt look right, I think I will add a monkey grip then try something else.
I never done a grip before, how is it Rob?

The hardest part is getting it correctly placed, the shape,as long as you have a sharp router bit (or drill bit if your doing it that way) is essential

The old agage,do it slowly and take your time applies

getting it smooth and looking original is the hardest part, but i got great reactions over the two i dont on my own,and i've done others
