Thanks guys!

I was totally going for the whole "Malmsteen Fender signature model" vibe on this one...but I it does look VSBL-ish now that I think of it...

Will do bammbamm..

My RG770DX.

l've had dimarzios in it for years but decided to re-try the original pups.
l believe this model usually came with a F2 and F4, mine came with 2 F2's.
l bought it new in 92.

That is one seriously played axe you have there Jack.

The sides of the body looked rounded off and not "square" like they are when new. Did you round them or are they just worn?

Re: Post pics of your own Custom modded Ibanez.

Hi mate, yes l rounded them off when l sanded back the undercoat. l never really feel comfortable with sharp angles on guitars.
For me, this has given the guitar a new lease of life. It is such a treat to play.
And yes, the neck is seriously worn, l have a spare but its a rosewood fingerboard, although lve never really liked shark-tooth inlays.

I like the little tattoo art sticker on the bottom of your guitar. Where did you get it? Others like it?

£650 would have bought you a LOT more than a modded 370.

Ben

Agent, do you use those onstage and if so are you comfortable enough with all those switches to use them effectively? Those are ALOT of switches.

My S1540FM With :
- Neck : DiMarzio PAF Joe
- Middle : Original
- Bridge : DM Multibucker ( 4 coils )

the pickups wiring is this one :

the added switch is an on/off for the middle PU.

Re: Post pics of your own Custom modded Ibanez.

Same PU wiring for my S540BK with Bill Lawrence XL and L and a DM DP184 (in the middle pos)

I've used all the pieces (except the PUs, of course) of an S540OL ( the body near the S540BK )
