Cool. I keep all of mine too. It just looked like they were on the guitar itself.

If you notice, "Troy" may be John, or Juan, or someone else who is affiliated with them. The "HDDeuce" nick was deciphered as most likely belonging to John... allegedly...

Well, either way I'm going to give the guy the benefit of the doubt and see the finished product when it arrives in two days or so. He has 100% positive feedback for 16 transactions, so I'll take that as a positive. I'll keep you guys posted on quality and fitment. Hope this turns out alright, and thanks for the heads up.

Just modded my RG550 DY. Pulled out the Fred and Paf Pro and in went the Evolutions neck and Bridge in a Zebra style.

Yes yes Just like the Jem 20th, I know Im a Jem owner wannabe, but il do what I can. I really like it. and the RG plays real nice and sounds great with the Evos

thats my wives arm (just incase you thought I had girly hands) lol

In my opinion my RG1550 looked like a cheap Jem knockoff with the stock white pearloid pickguard. I swapped it for a 3-ply black PG.

Re: Post pics of your own Custom modded Ibanez.

Here is my latest guitar.
Its a greatly modded Ibanez S370 that I bought off the bay for £79 (it was advertised as a 270) still bargain of the century though even if it had of been a 270.
Anyway, it was metallic pink when i got it, so it had to go...the colour I mean!
stripped back to natural mahogony body then waxed and polished, stripped the headstock and woodstained to match then applied Gold graphics.
Changed the trem from the nastiest TRS (single locking) to a Floyd-Rose with speedloader saddles.
Fitted 2 (yes 2) Dimarzio FRED pickups, Bridge and Neck (sounds awsome, tried a PAF-PRO in the neck but didn't like it).
Other Gold hardware fitted to finsh.
Was going to do the machineheads etc into Gold ones but I kinda like it as is.
I think they compliment the Black on the Pickups.
Don't Want Gold overkill.

Anyway Guitar stands me at about £250 now and its the Dogs Dangly's.

Let me know what you think...
Dean

Looks great, but isn't it still a single locking trem? It's not an Official Floyd Rose as Floyd Rose speed loaders are completely different. The trem wont really be much better than what was in it originally.

The natural body and stained headstock definitely look the goods though.

Your right yes it is still a single locking trem, but as for not much better, you couldn't be further from the truth.
I have previously owned many guitars including RG's and S's with most of the available trems over the years.
Lo-Pro's, Original Edges, gotoh's, kahlers etc. and yes it isn't an original Floyd but does the business, can't tell the difference between this and many of the more expensive trems I have owned.
Stays in perfect tune, Dive bombs all day long and then some.
I was dubious about getting it with it being single locking but liked the idea of being able to restring in an instant and I must say it works perfectly.

As for the rest, thank you for your comments, it is much appreciated and I do love it.

Dean

Re: Post pics of your own Custom modded Ibanez.

Hi to all

- Where to begin? Ji Ji. Well, first all: It is a pleasure to be able to finally post here. Here is my Guitar: Ibanez Rg1570 Custom. The body was paint in cooper color, the idea is like an Ibanez Rg470NP (Nickel Penny Color) and it was very well, beyond my expectations. The creator is a Argentinan luthier called "Mr. Charly Campos" from "Goya Luthiers" in Santiago de Chile, Southamerica.
The "Goya Luthiers" link:http://www.goyaluthiers.cl/
- Ibanez Rg1570 Custom, with V7 and V8 pickups (the middle is out). The rest is original.
- From already, thank you very much, and I wait for its opinions and commentaries. Regard from Chile. Humberto.
