Prolines - MIJ?

The ProLine series (1986) was all MIJ, correct?

What's the quality on them like, compared to RG550/570's?

The ones I've seen were GREAT. PL2550 rules. Ebony board. Alder body too, I think. Thru-neck, of course.

Re: Prolines - MIJ?

They are indeed MIJ. I have and 85' Pro Line 1660 and it is all sorts of awesome. The quality is just as good, if not better, than my 91' RG550. My Pro Line has a nice oil finished neck whereas the RG has a gloss finish. The only "fault" I can find with my Pro Line is that the neck is flatsawn as opposed quartersawn, which is featured on RG5XXs; it's a really minor issue. Pro Line are awesome! I hope to find an 86' Pro Line one day.
