Question about my Double Edge

Im curious how the battery Works/operates?!?


If there is no battery, the mag pups work normal and fine. I like to leave all my cords plugged in. Does this mean the battery is "on" and consuming power? Or does the toggle switch have to be on the Piezo setting for the pre-amp to b e on and consume battery power.

Any of you double edge guys know how the power/battery situation works, I cant find anything usefull in the manual!

I would assume it works just like any other battery system. The jack works like a power switch. If there's a cable in it, it's drawing on the battery.
