Question for rich


What is the "best sounding" ibanez you have laid your hands on, IYO (in your opinion)

Lol.....everyone's ear for tone is different and it's completely subjective. The tone he prefers you may find quite distasteful

Besides, what makes you think he even owns an amp??

I seem to recall Rich actually answered this question somewhere else (and I could be wrong here so my apologies in advance....), and the answer was the John Scofield model, which is basically an improved AR200, which in turn is Ibanez's take on the Gibson ES335!

That's so far off base it's over the fence in right

I still prefer JS's, but I've had way too many guitar to point a finger at any of them. Although I do like Evo's in mahogany. Ker-ching is a very nice tone but it's rarely heard

ooooopppssss...... sorry Rich, it's the medication, i obviously need to up the dosage rate.......

Dang, I'm sure I read that SOMEONE thought the John Scofield was the best sounding Ibby...... um, maybe it was John Scofield now that I think back.....

They ARE a very nice Axe!

I'd never argue they're not nice, and I'd say the best sounding out of the hollows [and I wish somebody would buy the one I have in stock!!!], but I'm a solid body guy at heart

My understanding is that John himself prefers the AS200 to the JSM100
