Quick question about the S540 series...
Seen an opportunity to pick up one of these used for £350, just wanted to confirm a few things with more experienced Ibanez users, as ive got no pics as of yet to go on:
Description:
- states it is "finished in green with cosmo hardware" - would this be the Cayman green finish of the 1992-1994 model?
- states it is the custom model - 21st fret "custom made" inlay i assume
- has two humbuckers and a single coil (H-S-H)
- has a maple neck - surely a '92-'94 model now?
only thing which confused me was that it states it has an "ultra light basswood body". to my knowledge, there were only mahogany bodies for the S series weren't there? any basswood bodies made for the Sabers, or is this just an error/typo?
