Re: replacement headstock logos

Evilbay... type in Ibanez Jem and hit "search title & description".

There's a ton of Jem decals on there in every flavor of the lifesavor pack. Just cut off the "Jem" part of the decal.

With a clearcoat.

Use automotive grade clearcoat if you want it to look good.

Good luck with it.

Re: replacement headstock logos

i think that yellow is gota be the hardest color to match. so im gona keep the headstock black and put a yellow decal on it. that way if the shade is off it will be alot harder to tell. How should i go about removing the old decal??? and i assume the new one is just like a bumper sticker??? iv only been playing for about 4 months so i dont exactly know how these things work. i bought this repaintd 470 of evilbay, the guy i bought it from didnt find it necessary to remove the old red paint so he just had a body shop paint over the burgundy. the color is killer! its silghtly darker than the desert yellow, but it has white chips in it so it changes tint in the light. thats why i dont want to paint the headstock. i replaced the crappy trs with a edge, not cheap, x2n in brigde and tone zone in the neck, just left the single in there bought a brand new wizard 2 with sharktooth inlays, and installed a black mirror pickguard. i love it some people may say it looks ghetto but i love it, and thats what matters, Right??
ill get some pics up if i do it, thanks guys
