Rg 320

Just curious as to where in the heirarchy of Ibanez the RG 320 falls. I'm guessing that it's pretty low, judging by the number. I believe these are the specs, correct me if I'm wrong:

two HB pickups

vol, tone, 5 way switch

wizard neck

edge trem (?)

Anybody have one of these? I'm not expecting premium here, just something that's a functional rocker....

I believe Ibanez changed the RG320 to be EDGE-III equipped. Other than that, I believe it's a Wizard II neck as well, with a thin flame maple top. That's about all I remember.

Re: Rg 320

The 2005 model has an Edge III trem while the 2004 models have the Edge Pro II. Also the guitar has a Wizard II neck, not a Wizard neck. Quality-wise it's the same as an RG370DX or an RG321 (except the latter has a fixed bridge and is made of mahogany now). The RG320 is definitely a functional rocker for someone on a budget (like myself) but later on down the road you'll eventually realize that there is better out there and want to join the Prestige family.

as good as any of the 3 series. the '20 only refers to the no-pickguard-dual-humbucker configuration.

are you looking for one of these? let me know.

Re: Rg 320

Really, the only reason I ask, is that I saw one on the bay that was at a relatively low bid price. They have put Duncans in place of the stock pus. Just trying to gauge what an appropriate price would be....

Not looking to seriously, though.

Re: Rg 320

I dont like Duncans in basswood too much. The cut mids kills me. Then again they probably arent any worse than what was in it before.
