RG 470 with an Edge?

whats the deal with the 4xx series? I heard some were MIJ some had edges etc...

so if this one is MIJ with and edge would it also have a wizard neck? or the wizard 2 neck?

The RG470s were MIJ after 1998. And as far as I know the ones that came in Europe didn't have edges

AFAIK, the only good trem that came in the RG4xx range is the EdgePro in the MIJ 2003 RG450LTD, thats all. Other than that, all LoTRS/TRSII.

the 470 did indeed come with a edge tremolo when it first came out
i had a 470L with a edge route

There was also a model around 96 97 I think that had an edge and the 570 that year had a Lo Pro, don't quote me on that tho.

I found one on the 'bay just recently that has an edge on it, so I checked out Rich's fine collection of catalogs, and it seems the RG4xx series did come with Edge's and Wizard necks in 92(?) and 93. They were switched to LO TRS II's and Wizard II's in 94 (korean) and switched again to the LO TRS in 97 ish (Japanese). I want to pick this 92/93 470L up, as it has everything I want, since I already have a 98 470L.

RG470's did indeed come with Edge's. There are RG470's in Japan that offered the edge trem and sharkfins.

THAT guitar in particular is an RG570.

thanks for the Info Guys. Seems like that would be a good deal for a 570 if anybody wants it.
