RG 470XL Baritone
The 470XL has the same basic feel of the regular 470. If you detune the guitar, or have large fingers, this could work to your advantage.
The guitars were designed to be tuned down one whole step (and this is how they are tuned when shipped). The extra scale length (27" vs. 25") absorbs the extra slack of the detuned strings. This way, you get the thick detuned sound without the floppiness.
The guitar has the TRS trem. Same trem and pickups as the regular 470.
The extra scale length can also help those with larger hands. Forget first position chording, as the frets are too far apart. With the frets further apart, you have a little more play between them.
