rg 560 bargain

hi, i found a rg560 on gumtree for $200. it sounds too good to be true. i really hope it is for real. what do you guys think i should do.

Buy it I love my 560 soooooo much. It7S the best guitar I've ever touched and I've played everything under the sun it seems.

hi nice im new to this site i need some help with tremolos and jems, i got 2 bodys jems, routed for the original edge or lo pro edge im finding it hard to track down any kits available as i need the anchors too, i want to know if the new edge pro fist into yhe original body route, i too have a 560 i call it old faithfull and is also the best gutiar i ever palyed

Check it for cracked/warped neck, etc. but other than that... buy it!

Sometimes deals like this come along, you just happen to be in the right place/right time.

I picked up my first RG560 from craigslist for $150... and a few years later I was checking out a completely trashed (neck cracked, etc) flying V clone that I was going to buy for $20 solely for the case... when he mentioned he had another guitar and case he'd get rid of cheap... turned out to be a red RG560 that just needed a good cleaning... got them both for $100. That's an 89 RG560 with case for $80... best deal I ever got on a guitar!

That said, be leery of deals that are _too_ good to be true... you don't want to wind up with a stolen guitar. I've passed on a couple of "great deals" because a little voice told me something didn't add up (seller wants to meet in a parking lot, won't give you phone number or full name, etc.) Still, sometimes folks just want to turn that dust collector under their bed into cold, hard cash... The-Auction-Site-That-Shall-Not-Be-Named has made screaming deals harder to find but they are still out there.

does the neck joint look right, to me it doesnt look like it is angled and the neck plate is different to my other rg's. it doesnt have the ibanez logo.

i never found out because he didnt reply. i wanted to get it delivered cod australia post, so that i wouldnt get scammed. but 2 days without reply seems dodgy
