RG Custom

Hey Ibanez fans! Its finally done, my first guitar project! Here is my RG Custom. I refinished a normal black RG and put marble finish on it. I bought Dimarzio Evos for it and dimarzio electronics. I also will be upgrading the trem. She isn’t wired up yet but the finish looks great and its glossy as H E L L! Let me know what you think! (BTW The pictures do no justice, this axe shows its beauty best in person.)

I will be uploading more in the daylight to show the jaw dropping finish!

Thanks to Courtney at the Ibanez forum and everyone else who chimed in for tips along the way!

Re: RG Custom

thats really cool, i like your unusual way of swirling!
i think the black doesnt go well with the blue though
besides that, excellent work!

Re: RG Custom

That turned out not too bad. Did you sort out the cracking?

Re: RG Custom

acually i didn't. I just sealed the cracks with a bit of wood glue and am going to use the body untill it falls apart or starts to be unreliable. I will be refinishing a new body for the project later on, probably this summer.
