rg neck on a sa?

hey guiys i have a friend who has a sa and he doesnt have a neck that fits, i put a old aanj wizard2 neck on it off my 470, is that a problem? i know the sa is a 22 fret, and the wizard was a 24, but it fit so i dont know???

check intonation. It could be off.

I guess they aren't interchangable.
The SA neck is 22 fret, therefore, smaller than the RG neck. Though they might fit, the intonation may be off by a mile and you'll end up with a longer scale (I'd say about 26"!)

how about a strat neck? would that fit on a SA?

A strat neck would be the right scale but the heel would need to be re-shaped. I would just get a used neck off the bay.
