I have used Chris Woods with good success so far. The "tea burst" RG was the first of 3-4 guitars that are being finished up now.

The only thing "Ninja" I am remotely interested in also says "Kawasaki" on it.

Re: RG Ninja 2008 Spring Special Limited Edition

Hello chaps, i'm a bit new to all this.

This guitar was the reason i joined this forum today! I have seen it on guitar.co.uk, they seem to be offering the guitar setup to whatever tuning you prefer with black strings of any guage you like.

http://www.guitar.co.uk/guitars/elec...lectric_guitar

Is this too good to be true? I suppose they have the demographic right for this guitar as it looks like a metal machine to me which suits me perferctly!

285 quid >< $570 right? That's not bad. Maybe a bit steep for an Indy fixed bridge.

The fixed bridge one, the Ninja, looks great. I'm actually a little bit tempted at £285.

That second one however, is horrid.

Re: RG Ninja 2008 Spring Special Limited Edition

Funnily enough I'd prefer the single-pickup one, just by virtue that IMO, a hardtail is better than a ****ty trem. And one good pickup is better than two crappy ones, even though I like to have a neck pickup for soaring, creamy leads. And a tone pot to smooth such things up as well.

With these limited edition models, Ibanez just like to mod up some ****ty model which only stupid people would be gullible enough to buy. Having said that the RG[year]1 and RG[year]2 models are ok.

Re: RG Ninja 2008 Spring Special Limited Edition

honestly i like the simplicity of the ninja , no pain in the ass floyd rose , a more than decent high output pickup , the kill switch and just the volume pot . the only thing i'm so so about is the neck , but i have adjusted to that easily enough. it is my main guitar for playing metal .
