RG Project started

I purchased rg 550 '88 body and Im beginning my first project guitar.
My plan was either wait for maple wizard neck with matching red headstock (although this is not stock color on the body) to show up, or to find plain wizard maple neck.
On th back you can still see the original color..

hey man... congrats... that's a cool custom graphic and paint you got there... tell me what kind of paint you used?
you shold look on the bay or maybe ET guitars... for the neck you are looking... for...

Don't know about the paint,because i got it on **** few days ago.it's a metallic candy apple red.looks great in person.
thanks for the info on necks ,i will look to it.
as for the pickups,i was thinking putting some custom ones from a local manufacturer.
they are hand wound and they would be similar to dimarzio par pro's in my JEM//FP but much better quality then factory ones.around 9k for the bridge and 7 for the neck.

After many months (although i didn't try too hard on this project)..i've found the right neck for it and hit the bin last night.
thinking about refinishing the headstock to same color as the body, but maybe i leave it as is,if i decide to go wild
