Ha, same thing the first reply on the Ibanez forum said. I think we all immediately thought of the 770.

A 565R in DY or LNG would be most excellent, as long as it has the matching headstock and dot inlays, and a maple board. Oh, and an original edge trem, too.
If that happens, I'm buying one of each.

Not much of a jump to go from reissue 550's to reissue 770's, eh? Just a different route, different inlay, colored pickups, and a clear pickguard, right?
Based on Rich's "250 of each" I'm guessing it's the 770DX as well.
Worst kept secret since the ending of Star Trek 3.

Well whatever it is, one thing we know for sure.... some will be happy while others whine & complain that Ibby's not making their favorite model, like they're the center of the universe. sigh.

One thing we can be pretty sure of..... a black model. (shudders & twitches)

I like the idea of the 770 (in purple or blue) too. Either way I'm happy to see some old models re-released again, I love my 550, even if they did cheap out on the electronics; switches.

LOL! A black RG770DX. That WOULD be easy to make! Almost like a Prestige version of the RG350MDX with the 770 route.

The second R in "RGR" means reverse head. The RG565 already has a reverse head!
