the 3120 should come with a wizard...I think the JPM neck is thicker

Yeah i traded my 3120 for a JPM, and the JPM definetly feels "beefier"...

JPM's came with the 'viper' profile I think, completely different from the 'Wizard' on a 3120. The Viper is thicker front to back with a smaller nut width.

There were a couple Japanese-market-only guitars with the JPM neck profile right after JP left Ibanez. Dunno if they're stilol making them or not.

Neither the RG470, nor 3120 is the same neck.

The Ultra profile that is available on some of the JC models is as close as your going to get I believe, but it is still 43mm vs. 42mm in width at the nut. And it's not quite as beefy as the JPM, but more so than a wizard.

I think the Rg 2820 has a jpm neck. If it's not, it's very similar. The width is 42 mm, not shure about the thickness

The guitars I know that either have the same neck or similar neck and 2 hum configuration would be the JCRG-3, RG8520 (pre-2004), RG1802, USRG30, and a very small number of UCEW1FM's. You can go to www.ibanezregister.com and check out photos of all of the guitars I mentioned as well as ones that you might think it is, I am sure you will be able to identify what you were thinking of there.
