RG1550GXWB-WM Limited Edition

Hi! I'm an owner of a fantastic RG1550GXWB-WM Limited Edition of the year 2003! It is white some gold pieces. I would like to have (or to know where to download) some catalogues or brochures or services,... any kind of material about my guitar, if possible. I've looked on the net for my guitar, but I've found only 2 sites in which there was something about it. I would like to know (always if possible or known) how many guitars like mine have been produced. I thank you!

We'll just call him RG1550 for short.

This RG1550WH was Europe only and 2003 only model (like the RG2820) and you won't be able to find it in any catalogs or anything like that.
Very few of these were made, def less than 1000 and maybe as few as 300.
Funny thing is over here these actually sold for less than the regular RG1550.
I think the black pickups look mighty ugly on a perloid scratchplate and gold hardware.

Actually my local-ish shop has some in, mayby it's just 1 model but it's priced around a hundred quid more than the regular 1550.

You have to upload them somewhere on the net (webshots, photobucket, yahoo) and then just post a link to the photo album.

It looks very nice, but I think the gold makes it look like a wannabe JEM. Changing to black will make it look like a 555.

But I find it wicked anyway, just those connections to the JEM I don't like too much.

I recently saw a RG1550GXWB-WM Limited Edition in a Long and McQuade store in Vancouver, Canada. The salesman says it was a special edition provided by the Ibanez factory. I have to admit I thought it was a very good looking guitar and seriously thought about getting it knowing it was kinda rare.

Having never seen a white Jem in person, I can only imagine...however it was about $1250 CDN which is about $300 CDN over the price of the regular RG1570. So I got an RG2550EX-VBB instead and finding it great.

Tried the RG1550GXWB-WM and I did not prefer the pickups, so the cost of the instrument combined with the cost of possibly replacing the pickups killed any thoughts of getting it. But when you look at a rack of guitars, it definitely attracts a lot of attention. Even my wife and kid said it was "pretty".

This is my first post to Jemsite and found all the information great when I was researching my Ibanez purchase. Kudos’ to all for the great posts and info.
