rg270 pickup upgrade

does it worth the cost to upgrade my rg270 with fred & paf pro pickups,my two other guitars are les paul studio with emg 81/85 and a strat plus usa...waiting for reply

If you plan to keep it and play it, I don't see why it is NOT worth it.

If you plan to sell it, then no. People will always price down because it is a Korean guitar, regardless of the pups on it.

i don't see the logic of putting $120 worth of pickups into a $200 guitar myself, but if you really like the RG270 then the pickups will make it sound a bit better.

to compare this to a prestige MIJ ibanez is silly however... glen

If you get a chance to play any of the Japanese higher end guitars, you'll see, feel, and hear a huge difference. Ask your doctor if there's a difference between a plastic knife and a scalpel.
