Question

RG320PG"warning" or RG550MXX?

Hi guys!

I want to buy a new guitar, but I cant make up my mind.I saw the RG320 and I liked it a lot, nut I haven`t read any good reviews about it, and i Saw the yellow RG550MXX wich i 2 like but is twice as expensive.I hope someone can tell me the us and downs of both guitars, so i can make up my mind!

Thanks a lot!

A Dutch guitarist

The thing with those 2 guitars is that with one you're basically paying for the finish, and with the other you're paying for the fact its an anniversary model.

The better guitar of the 2 is the 550 by some margin, but I personally would be looking elsewhere (Unless of course, I really wanted a maple board, in which case the 550 is a great choice considering the small amount of maple board guitars ibanez currently make.)

DY colour and original edge bridge justify the trade up to the 550

Take it from someone who loves a good RG....

Go for the RG550 (in DY obviously ...there are a few on this forum that have bought the ~wrong~ neon )

Otherwise, for the value, you cannot beat a RG1570.

But the 550s are badass mainly because of the maple and the neon (imo)...the looks keep you in the honeymoon period alot longer.

But bang-for the-buck is the 1570...I find the playability and the necks (Prestige treatment) hard to beat

Let's face it...they are both FANTASTIC axes and you should waste no more time and just BUY ONE!!!!
