Got the guitar!!!
Bunch of pics here...

Don't question me about the "blacklight" pics, I got a special request about it...
Got 30 minutes with the new
RG350M to noodle around.
Really not bad out of the box... I will keep it that way and play it for a few weeks before working on the set-up... It's like adding a few thousands miles (kilometers) on a car before pushing the engine! With time, it will get some playing wear on the frets and some grease/oil from the fingers on the neck!

And then it will even play better!
Funny as the guitar was perfectly tuned when I removed it from the box and it had never been opened!
The neck got some knots on the fretboard (see the pics), not a super grade birdseye finish but I like it! Not plain as some other maple board I have seen.
Position 4 of the PU selector gives it a strat kinda tone! Poppy/snappy! I love it!
I beat it during that noodling. Stays in tune quite well... Whammy bar is very smooth and neck not too thin but not too beefy. I will have to get use to the middle pick up and to having the strings so close to the body.
PUs are not high output so this is way cool, I got used to this with the two Godin I own and prefer this to high outputs as to me, you can put more dynamics into your playing with lower output PUs.
A few bad things... The bar that goes into the whammy feels a cheap and hits the knobs when spinning it around. Paint looks good but if you look very closely, you can see some very thin horizontal line. I had seen this on many low end Ibanez previously.
For you info, the
yellow, is like a neon/fluo yellow! It's in your face! The pictures do not give justice to it.
I think it's good deal for the price I got it. Only time will tell regarding the hardware/durability.
I'm off line todoay but if you got some questions, ask them! I'll be back soon!
