Are there any "sound differences" between wizard III neck (with binding) and wizard II neck. I have a rg570 with wizard II neck and want to buy rg370dx for my brother. But when I listened rg370dx's many sound sample on youtube, sound samples were very very boxy sound. I have also listened rg350dx with maple neck. Its sounds really good. But especially rg370x (with binding neck) too dry, thin, less sustain and boxy for my ears.
Rg350dx with maple gives very good sound like my rg570. Rg350dx (maple neck) has same equipment with rg370dx except their necks. So I thought necks affect tones.
I have to say that actually sound quality of youtube samples were really bad. So I cant decide. My opinions are right or am I wrong?
