Japan, but it has the lo-end TRSII

It is like the lowest end Japanese model out there, I suppose

Not sure. I believe the 3XX and below RGs all have Wizard2 necks, while 4XX and above have Wizard necks.

3XX and below have PSND or INF pups and 4XX and above have V7/8, etc pups (unless you consider this hardware as well)

I'm not sure why you want to do that.

BTW, I'm not sure if RG4XX's are going to continue, but if they do, then I guess they will have Edge Pro II trems.

As the 2000'(My Rg's Production year) catalog shows both 270 and 470 have the same Wizard II neck.

The 470's Stock V7/V8 i've already have on my guitar , i just need the Lo-Trs bridge(i've already found someone who sells one) and the Tuners to be the same colors and I have something that Identical to the 470'.

So if i would like to sell it , as I see it the value would increase.
and because i'm buying the 470's hardware it costs me nothing.. so it's kinda cool deal

Didn't know that the 470 was a WizII.

The problem there is that not many people see the value of the 470 over the 270. Sure it'll be worth more, but to the educated buyer, it will be just like a "customized" RG270. "Customized" not being that much better (only pups are different).

By the way, the TRS is on both the 270 and the 470 already, so I don't understand why you want to "buy" one.

WEF from 2003, the RG 470 is definitely Japanese, sporting the Edge Pro trem but it's not available in the USA anyway so i won't talk too much about it...

From checking catalogs, the history of the 470.
1993: MIJ w/Edge
1994-97: MIK w/TRS-II, INF pickups
1997-: MIJ w/TRS, V pickups

Dont waste your time buying a TRS to put in it. THe TRS is only marginally better than a TRS II.

Just buy an Edge or OFR and be done with your trem woes.
