Rg550LB or 520Qs

Hey guys, I have an option of trading my american deluxe strat for an Ibanez + cash. I have a great condition 550 in laser blue, a 520 quilted saple and a 570ex in rfr (looks very orange in pics so im guessing).

I am leaning towards the 550 but I really like the mahogany grain on the 520; however, the pup rings on the 520 are a real turn off. Also I was wondering how much the average 520 and 550 go for, I have a general idea but I want to double check.

Im asking for more pics since the 550 ones are older and I noticed it says all the cameras he used were different so that made me a little iffy. I'm not sure if the 550 has a case or bar but I hope. Also I am trying to figure out what pups are in the guitars, it looks as if the 550 has different ones

Not much between them for me. Still I would go for the 550 but you can't really go wrong with the other 2 providing there are no real issues with the guitars.

I'd go with the 550, if it's in good playing condition, if for no other reason than if it was built in 1991 it was definitely built in Japan, and built during Ibanez's greatest period. I just recently bought a 1990 RG550 and aside from the pups that were put in it, the guitar was in a totally higher class than my RG320 and SZ320, both made in Korea or Indonesia.

The 520 looks like a non Japanese build, I'd pass entirely, it's all looks.

I agree, right now the only thing that is sketchy is that he hasn't messaged me back since yesterday morning. Why can't a jemsiter just trade me their 550 + cash :P

The rg520 is japanese made.Wizard neck,edge trem and mahogony body.

He just replied to me, I hope to get around $400 cash but I'm sure he will try for lower. What do you guys think for his condition 550 and my condition strat.

(Here is my strat description and pics, I haven't lowered the price on harmony central to $760 yet, it is at 825. The 760 is a jemsiter deal :P)
