RG560 mods: Tremol-No and D Tuna

I am considering adding a Tremol No and a D Tuna to an RG560 that I just bought. I like to do 'drop d' tuning and I want to be able to do it on the fly. Has anyone tried doing either of these on an RG and what were the results like? Is there a better alternative to the Tremol-No? I think the D-Tuna should fit on the Edge, but I think it'll be tight. Any ideas?

not sure, but i think the D-Tuna doesn't fit the Edge.

I have heard both that it does and doesn't fit. I hate to buy it and it not work. I have also feard that you can 'drop d' with the fine tuner. I wonder if anyone else here has done this?

I can tell you that a D-Tuna does fit an edge. I have one on one of my guitars.

Sweet. So, no problem with the D Tuna clearing the body? Can you still pull up on the trem?

Does your 560 have an edge or lo-pro edge? Mine has a lo-pro I woulder if the d-tuna fits on that?

If you leave the Tremol-no in dive only it wont matter, I've routed mine out further though so I could fit it in drop d mode if I wanted too.

The D-Tuna wont fit a low profile trem, only standard profile ones.
