Rg770!
I've been waiting for this moment for a long time. It should be here in a few days. I've just purchased this from Javashred (who, I shamefully caused a bit of a ruckuss with, but everything's cool now
). Here are some pics of it, but I'll post some more (sans stickers):
It's got Tone Zones (yay!
)in the neck and bridge positions and a stock IBZ/USA C3 (anyone can give comments on this?). I have a feeling that I'll be loving the
bridge pup
, but still not sure about the neck. I'm thinking of trading it for
PAF Pro
. But who knows, eh?
Comments from happy and disgruntled 770 owners are greatly appreciated.

Congratz man!
Man i'd really like one of those, or a 750 or something...
Anyway it's very cool, but those stickers really got to go

^No doubt. The first thing I'll do when it gets here is remove it.

I've got a 760. It was my first guitar and a wise choice... six other guitars later its still my main axe. Enjoy!

Re: Rg770!
I just picked up an RG770 a few weeks ago (about 50 or so thread's back there's some info on it) it was on a
music store
's site and no one was sure if it was an rg770 or not.It was '90 and has a cherry
sunburst finish
,which ive never seen before.Anyway to get to the point, it is a real 770 and i ended up buying it for $250.Needless to say, I freakin love this thing.Ive had a Jem and a PGM in the past and i was lookin to get a guitar to replace them (miss those wizard necks).I honestly think the 770 is a better guitar than both of em',I'm seriously addicted to this guitar. Also gotta say they are the best sounding stock pickups ive ever played on a guitar........Anyways good luck.... if your experience is anything like mine your in for a treat w/ your 770!

Re: Rg770!
The
Tone Zone
in the neck doesn't sound that bad. It'll probably one of the fattest tones you'll hear, but if it's too fat for your liking a PAF Pro is a time tested
neck pickup
. Mind you a Tone Zone wired in parallel sounds pretty good as well, it cuts back on the fat a bit and still kicks @$$.
