RG770 Delay??

I was just on the phone with a friend who said his local shop told him that there was a serious delay with Ibanez shipping out the RG770. Originally he was told it would be early September and now it would be sometime before the end of the year.

Can anyone here confirm that?

I think it depends on the shop. Ibanezrules has them listed as "in stock". *************** say sept 5, sweetwater says end of sept/early oct. just to name a few.

I bought mine from guitar center. I haven't heard anything about any delays, but I also haven't checked in with my guy there in a few weeks. I was anticipating the first couple of weeks in September.
