Re: RGEX1
hmm... looks like it has a locking nut and a string retainer on it. If so it cant be rgex1 unless there was a different neck put on it. Can't tell cause of the low resolution pic though.
Sorry I can't help more

If you like it. How cares what anyone says about it? Don't ever over value other opinions.

Re: RGEX1
the 220 is about the same in quality as the rgex1.
if the jem 555 is about the same price, thats pretty good. they are ok guitars when you dont think of them as jems.

Re: RGEX1
You get and play what makes you happy first off. However, if you watch for the right deal you can get a very good used 550, S series, or other 5xx MIJ series guitar that will blow away the 555 and rgex. It is a buyers market out there right now.
Everyone once in awhile you will find a super deal but 99.9% of the time you get what you pay for.

Re: RGEX1
Been there done that man so I hear you. Don't settle for something cheap to be able to have it now. Save for now and pratice technique on a crapper and when you hit a good one you will be very happy. That last line works for women too.
