I've mentioned that I was interested in an RGR580 and my wife picked up on it and surprised me. Yes, she picked up the last one available from Isheebashee in JBB (Jewel BLue Burst). She's a keeper :-)

If anything, I may change out the pups, but I have to try them out first ;-)

See here

Sweet! What an awesome surprise!

Are those dots black, or are they body-coloured? Some blue dots would look verrrynice on that maple board.

Can you imagine the postage on that?

Oh, and i'd stay away from the office romance if i were you... it can go really screwy if the relationship turns sour.

I hear you Darren, but that seems to be the easiest way to get someone half decent.
The only other way I can get a girl, is by going out and ending up with some psycho.
Good girls don't do one night stands..............and I want a GOOD girl.

Anyway, back to the guitar.

Great guitar Eddie. I was lucky enough to get to try one here at a local chop. Love the neck, and the reverse headstock. If you doon't mind me asking how much did she pay?(if she told you)

No problem, it was 70,000 yen total for guitar, wire transfer and shipping to CA. Came out to $582. Last one they had and apparently discontinued.

Your right. The the Jewel Blue Burst, and Deep Wine Red(cool finish). Thats a really good price Eddie. Alot cheaper if it wasn't for that damn international shipping!

It has arrived!

Very well packaged...gig bag, gobs of bubble wrap, box, then gobs more bubble wrap and tape.

What else can I do but tune it up and plug it in. Sounds and plays great. The stock pups sound pretty good. Sweet, woody neck pup and the bridge pup is pretty chunky running through my Legacy. Must be the direct mount on Mahogany. I'll noodle around with this pup configuration for a while. The tone control doesn't have as much effect as it does on a JEM, JS, or PGM (HAH!! That's a test! There is no tone control on a PGM ;-) ). The neck feels great. The finish is really nice. It is primarily Jewel Blue and gets lighter around the edges, hence the Jewel Blue Burst.

I would say more, but I haven't had enough time to fuly disect it :-)

Where are the pics?!?!?
Upload them tomorrow morning ;-)
